Welcome to our brand-new website! We are looking forward to giving you an instructive and, above all, enjoyable academic year 2024-2025!
Medica is the Leuven student association for students of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the Faculty of Medicine of KU Leuven.
We consist of a team of committed students who want to give you an unforgettable student experience in various areas and ways:
- A course service with cheaper study materials
- Representing the student's voice in education and throughout Leuven
- Organising the best activities, such as our gala ball or symposium, not to mention our very own Doc's Bar where you are more than welcome EVERY evening!

Every week you can join us for the most fun, sporty or educational events! From cantuses and parties to running sessions and cultural evenings to even our gala ball and biomedical congress....
Freshmen
First-year GNK or BMW is exciting anyway, which is why we put all our freshmen in the limelight and help them make a smooth transition to their new field of study. See you at one of our activities!
Doc's Bar
Of course, a night out is not complete without a stop at our beloved Doc's Bar! Every night we are ready to make it a smashing party with the funniest themes and tastiest promos every Thursday!
Bookshop
All your books and courses in time to tackle the semester well? And at a bargain price too? That's what we're here for! Here you can also find your Leuven songbook, Medica pull and many more study materials
Education
We provide representation for our students! We enjoy listening to what you have to say and make it heard by the Faculty, the Student Council and the umbrella organisation LOKO
