In accordance with the statutes of Medica vzw, any alumna or alumnus of biomedical sciences or medicine can apply for honorary membership by submitting a written request to the Executive Board (info@medica.be). Anyone working at the Faculty of Medicine at KU Leuven can also apply.
After your request is accepted, you will become an honorary member by transferring €50 to Medica vzw, to account number BE08 0689 0062 4213, with the reference "Honorary Membership, [your name], [academic year]." You will be an honorary member in the academic year following the year in which you purchased membership. This amount can also be submitted as a professional expense with the permission of the chief physician.
If you would like to make a voluntary contribution, we greatly appreciate it, but it is of course not obligatory. To do this, you must make a bank transfer with the reference "Voluntary contribution, [your name], [academic year]." If this contribution is at least €50, you can also submit it as a professional expense.
